I want to use this platform to highlight the startup journeys of women who have taken the risk to follow their interests and build their own venture.

We need to show the world that women can build successful businesses. We need to tell their stories. As of 2021, only 2% of VC funding went to female founders despite venture investment being at record highs. This shows that gender bias persists among startup investors despite the fact that female founders outperform their male counterparts.

​

Female founders are great and we need more of them.

​

 2. Discussions of interesting topics with people who have different viewpoints

​

In the age of social media, our news feeds are creating echo chambers that confirm our bias, making us less tolerant of other opinions. This increases social and political polarization, and leads to extremism. Seeing different perspectives helps us come together. It strengthens the democratic foundations of our country. This podcast is trying to highlight the gray area that is often overlooked, the consensus that is not seen in filter bubbles, the nuance.

 

Different perspectives are great and we need to see more of them.

I believe it is important to talk about failure as much as success. Failures are important as they make us rethink, reconsider and find new ways and strategies to achieve our goals. Let's embrace failures and celebrate anyone who tried something new!
